I really went crazy in the kitchen today. First I made apple pie filling. I then baked guayaba rolls and used the pie filling for making apple empanadas. I also tried a new recipe from Taste of Home for Mine Run Candy. It turned out OK, but I'm not going to dip them in chocolate. After all that I made a triple recipe for chocolate chip cookies. I went to have a little nap after lunch, then I started a batch of "zwieback" (rolls or buns). I hope I can get them all baked by supper! Have a great weekend everyone!

ReplyDeleteYour guayaba rolls look very good! I can just imagine the taste! We get importd guyaba in tins that we cook into jam and my Mom makes these rolls. My hubby's favorite!
